Where it all began…
Hello Skills was founded after 20 years working in the early years sector, led us to be frustrated by the amount of time we were putting into administrative tasks to build our team.
We were disappointed with the courses we were using, they lacked scope and ambition. The online learning was disjointed; keeping those who were driving change out of the learning loop.
We knew that to get the best out of training, team leaders had to be put back into the driving seat. We set out to address this.
Experiences in the early years not only influence, but significantly determine a range of outcomes that affect the course of people’s lives: our health, our behaviours, our education and our social and economic wellbeing.
Hello Skills is a centre for learning whose aim is to empower every person who is a stakeholder in Early Years Education to be the best that they can be.
We strive to develop a community mindset for sharing exemplary practice for the benefit of children.
Hello Skills was developed in collaboration with a large number of schools and nurseries, we know that we are a sector of increasingly young people who bring with them a new take on learning and development.
The post-Millennial generation are beginning to join our organisations. They are practical, open-minded, and ready to learn. But they’re also seasoned consumers accustomed to continuous updates and polished user experiences. To motivate them we will have to meet them where they live — on their phones.
Hello Skills is a tool that will help you to motivate and engage with your team and stay ahead of change in the Early Years.
